I’m hanging all my parts on the wall and reclaiming my garage so I can actually use the damn thing again.
Moment of honesty: this is a pain in the ass.

And insulation, maybe some sheetrock, and taste in vehicles that didn’t require hoarding parts.

well yes insulation and sheetrock will help, but your choice of car is fine.

This application of hoarding parts is oppo-approved. With a ‘yota, hoarding parts can get you to a million miles, ‘cause most of them are long gone before the survivors need parts...it’s not like hoarding Chrysler transmissions or Range Rover air ride parts.

If you don’t have to hoard parts due to rarity or how often you have to fix things you are doing it wrong. Car part hoarding is the only acceptable type of hoarding.

you need magnetic walls. Or maybe a giant rotating table you could put under the garage to hold all your parts against the wall with centripetal / centrifugal force, but that could make parking tricky.... I’m sticking with magnetic walls. I see a nice Toyota museum in the making, you just need to register as a non-profit organization and invite bus-loads of school children for tours, $0.25/each to see how it used to be, when cars were made from parts you could take apart with one wrench and your hands. I applaud your efforts!

I feel ya.
My new garage isn’t insulated. I swear I could cut sheet metal with my nipples.
